Who we are

Smallforge Development LLC builds cross-platform applications for iOS, Android, desktop, and the web. This policy covers our website and the applications we publish under our own name. Applications we build for clients are governed by that client's own privacy policy.

Information we collect

We collect as little as possible, and only what an app needs to work.

• Account information. If an app requires an account, we store the email address and authentication details needed to sign you in.
• Content you create. Projects, notes, and other data you enter are stored so the app can show them back to you and sync them across your devices.
• Diagnostics. Crash reports and basic error logs, used to find and fix defects.
• Contact messages. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not run third-party advertising networks in our apps.
• We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and crash reporting. Data is processed on Google's infrastructure under their terms as a data processor, and only for the purposes described above.

Security

Our background is in cybersecurity tooling, and we design accordingly. Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what is required to operate and support the software, and security is considered at the architecture stage rather than added afterward.

Children

Our applications are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and its contents. Email us and we will act on the request. Deleting an account removes its content from our active systems, and from backups on their normal rotation.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the date above.
